Memorializing cherished moments with fur-babies

A friend of mine and his wife recently had to put down their 15 year old Beagle. Her name was Sadie. She had a sister named Maui and they there was another dog that they played with named Toby. After she died, my friend asked me if I might write a children’s book for his wife to memorialize her. So I sat down and wrote a story about Sadie, Maui, and Toby having their first adventure. The book has four children’s poem included in Book 1 and it is meant to be silly, fun, and also, nurturing. The book will be 7×10, cost about $11.95, and it should be available on Amazon sometime around, but no later than, July 1, 2023.

The illustrator for the cover and six different illustrations enclosed in the book is the same artist that did the covers for Books 1 & 2 of my “The Life of Riley’ series. His name is Ivano Lago and he lives in Italy with his wife and is very talented. You can check out his work at ivanolago.com

Frye will now write more such personal-themed children’s books for the owners of beloved pets or for dearly missed deceased pets. He can be reached about such commissioned work through email jeffreypfrye@outlook.com
